Conference call software works much the same as the real thing. Just like a computer program, conference call software emulates a real conference call through the use of computer assistance. Conference call members will join the call in a similar fashion - but somewhat different.

On a regular conference call, attendees join via a dial-in number computer. This can save a lot of hassle, too - it can save on long distance bills. So, in reality, if you had a wireless laptop and you accessed wireless hotspots while on the go, you would never need to enter a conference room to enjoy the sound of your fellow corporate members.

Conference call software is truly leading the trend in stay at home businesses.  It's more advantageous in the fact that not everyone has to be in one conference room; but anyone invited can join via their own mobile laptop or PC at home.
