Conference Bridge

consists of the hardware and software that allows digital voice to come from many lines into a server, be mixed, and sent back out over those multiple lines.

Conference number

the number entered by you and your participants to enter the conference.

Conversation mode

in this mode anyone is allowed to talk at anytime.

Dashboard

sometimes we refer to the webcontrol as having a dashboard. It is your connection to the conference bridge. It reflects real time change going on in your conference.

Dial-in-number

the phone number assigned to you as to reach your conference.

Digital Lines

all lines leading into our conference bridge are fiber optic lines, providing the purest signal into the conference bridge and assures crisp clear signal leaving the conference bridge.

Free Conference Call - (No Cost Conference)

you will receive no bill from No Cost Conference, Inc. You only pay what your long distance company charges you per minute as most calls are outside the area code where the conference bridge is kept.

Moderator

the caller in charge of the majority of functions during the conference call either via keypad functions or webcontrol.

Moderator number

the number entered by the moderator to differentiate the moderator from the participants.

Operator

a person available to you for questions if you are having difficulty during your conference.

Participant

each member of your conference other than the moderator. Please note that they have fewer functions available to them.

Presentation mode

the mode in which all members of a conference are muted except the one person to conduct a presentation. Note that this can be any member of the conference designated by the moderator and can be more than one person.

Reservationless

many conference companies require you to set a time to start you conference and a time you will end it. We believe you should be able to start it at any time and have it as long as you want.

Wav to mp3 encoder

all recorded conferences are available only in wav format.

Webcontrol

a web-based interface that allows you to control many functions in real time while conducting the conference call.
