BT conferencing offers a range of services, which enables meetings to occur without having to travel. Conferencing is becoming a key asset in companies' communication networks, both internally and externally. With an increasingly dispersed workforce, organisations are finding that it is much more cost effective to use conferencing services.
The approach to meetings is now more flexible and BT offers combinations of meetings by:
- phone
- web
- video
Of course the above supplement and do not replace the traditional and essential face to face meetings.
BT conferencing enables three or more locations to link together into the same call, giving you immediate access to your colleagues, clients and suppliers. And because there don't have to be travel costs, hotel bills or time spent in organising meetings, it's also a particularly cost and time effective solution.
Types of conferencing
- BT MeetMe (Global Access): Reservationless phone conference service, which allows up to 50 persons worldwide to meet instantly. Local Access numbers in up to 45 countries will enable you to dial a local dial-in number and expensive international long-distance phone calls will be avoided.
- BT Booked Event Calls: Link people in different locations into the same conversation over the telephone. Ideal for very large, event-type Conferences.
- BT Video Conferencing: Link people in different locations via the interactive two-way video, point to point for two sites, multi-point for three or more.
- BT Web Conferencing: Let people share presentations, applications and files between each others PC's over the internet or intranet. It is a powerful tool, which enables you to visualise your ideas to large user groups.
